Finally the time has come; the unique Amsterdam American School bus is driving
Like you all will know has every mainly city her own hop-on and hop-of city bus. Outside The Netherlands they mostly use the old fashion double deck buses, unfortunately is this not possible in Amsterdam. The electricity cables of our city trams are to low. But finally the capital gets another special excursion opportunity….. Since the 20th march of 2008 you can find a very special red American school busses driving around in the Centrum of the city. These special busses have moveable window roofs, which of course are switched open by sunshine and make sure you have an excellent view of the city. The busses riding a city tour passing lots of famous and less famous places of interest, like the mill in Amsterdam-East, the Trope museum, Amsterdam Zoo Artis, The Amstel Hotel, The Western church, The Munttower and the diamonds polishing factory Amsterdam Diamonds. The bus stops 10 times a day at the parking area of the factory of Gassan Diamonds. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee in our coffee shop and take a free diamond tour in our factory.
